What is the process like – from start to finish?
Dr. Shah starts with a comprehensive examination of your teeth, gums, and bite. X-rays and other imaging may be performed to assess bone density and quality and aid in treatment planning. The actual placement of your implants may be done under local anesthetic or with sedation.
Following implant placement, the bone must bond to the implant. This can take several months. While you wait, temporary teeth may be provided. After your implants are stable, we take impressions for the final bridge/denture. The final prosthesis is attached, and precise adjustments are made for comfort.
